An American Contemporary Sonnet With LOVE

I have been learning about the history of the United States of America. It has been very inspiring and uplifting knowing the beauty of this Nation. It is a country created out of a dream. It is a Land Sweet Liberty fill with people from all walks of lives. Every time I read The Declaration of Independence, it inspired me deeply knowing about the Promise that every one is created equal. A child being born and raised in Inner City in Los Angeles is equally as important, worthy, and valuable as the owner of a Fortune 500 company in New York City. I became very passionate that I wrote a sonnet:
A Nation of Character born to Bless all
It was God Who put The Pilgrims to create
A Covenant With Him To Have it all,
Because a Nation Under God is great.
Humility before Him brings peace now!
The Founding Fathers wrote it very clear,
That All Men Are Created Equal yes wow!
Under the power of God through them here.
A Nation of Freedom With A Solemn
Promise that every person ever born
is equal like each and every one else,
regardless of whether you are from Bronx,
Or South Central Los Angeles, you're free
In this country anyone can succeed.
I am absolutely committed to work towards creating a series of poems and sonnets on the beauty of this Nation. We are living in country where anyone can truly fulfill their dreams. We have so many opportunities such as getting educated, being your best at any career of your choice, you have freedom to be, do, and have anything that you want. I love the United States of America, Sweet Land of Liberty.
